While handling logistics for TV or film productions in large towns or cities is typically straightforward, taking a production out on location can quickly become a complex challenge.  Transporting equipment, cast, and crew to remote or difficult-to-reach sets can turn into a logistical headache. That’s where UNIT BASE SUPPORT steps in.

We specialise in providing access using specialised off road vehicles, always prioritising safety on every journey. 

 

We manage the transfer of technical equipment from regular film transport trucks into our custom vehicles and trailers, ensuring timely delivery to locations, even in remote areas like dense forests, coastal beaches, muddy fields, or even hard-to-reach urban centers where Tech Trucks dont fit.

Drivers

All drivers have off road driving experience and towing experience, with many being ex forces. 

We have a range of training levels within our team of drivers, with winching / recovery specialists.

​

On Screen

Unit Base Support drivers have also driven specialist Land Rovers on screen for a lengthy reality celebrity TV shoot, where consistent and safe daily on screen driving was required.

​

Note:- We are not able to dry hire vehicles to productions with the exception of on screen vehicles.
